HRE Editorial Project Coordinator

As Editorial Project Coordinator, you'll be the get-it-done glue inside the editorial department and serve as our liaison to the sales, marketing and conference departments. In this role, you will do everything from create and edit content to manage special projects and products including webinars, write about the HR industry and handle administrative duties. The ideal candidate has superior content, communication and organizational skills that will help successfully drive Human Resource Executive into the next decade.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow digital audiences for annual editorial projects, including surveys, awards and recognition programs. This will include the What Keeps HR Up at Night survey, the Top 100 HR Tech Influencers and the HR Executive of the Year.
  • Develop and help execute ideas for new content-related projects and products.
  • Write stories, especially related to the editorial projects, and other HR industry content as assigned.
  • Manage editorial webinars from conception to execution, in concert with sales.
  • Work with our partners in the sales, marketing and conference departments on content, projects and products to drive readership and subscriber engagement.
  • Edit editorial, marketing, conference and other content as assigned.
  • Organize logistical aspects of the HR Executive of the Year awards dinner at Boston University.
  • Oversee publication of each digital edition of Human Resource Executive
  • Administrative tasks, including freelancer agreements, invoices, email, contest submissions, etc.
  • Maintain schedules for regular discussions with vendors, such as Parsely, Getty images, etc., as directed by editor.
  • Other duties as required.


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum one year experience as a writer or project coordinator
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, digital-first media environment
  • Strong writing, editing and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with AP style, WordPress, digital tools
