Advisor-Global Corporate Account Leader
Leadership: through excellence in behaviours and big outcomes; this role will advance the Global Business to Business (B2B) within Elanco. Also the person in the role should serve as the “model” for all account leads (ALs) in Elanco and become an active coach and mentor to several ALs across the globe.
Business – implement key critical business processes internally and with Cargill, ensure B2B sales force excellence scores improve globally driving growth in value creation and deliver on customer and Elanco business goals.
Communicate – Act as the primary point of contact between Elanco and Cargill, globally. Cascade appropriate strategic and operational information to global accounts and from Cargill leaders to Elanco personnel.
Connect – Understand, record and maintain key global account organizational structure mapping. With this as a baseline the candidate also needs to connect global, regional and local leaders with their corresponding counterparts in the two organizations.
Coordinate – To ensure that relevant value platforms and capabilities are executed. Drive accountability for the execution of regional and local projects being managed by their respective Elanco and partner representatives.
Enable – Break down internal and external barriers to effective collaboration with Cargill. Lead the negotiation and maintenance of global agreements together with the business partner and ensure that terms and payments are honored in a timely and accurate fashion by both parties. Ensure that accounts are being managed within the framework of the global strategic account management (SAM) process.
Harmonize – Host B2B global forum to drive accountability, through common language, processes and best-practice sharing, across key B2B directors within the Elanco organization.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree, advanced business degree or higher preferred
At least 5-10 years of experience in animal health sales/marketing leadership position.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal
Significant experience dealing with executives in animal health and animal protein value chain.
Track record of effective customer consultancy and value delivery with large, complex accounts.
Previous project management experience a plus and ability to handle multiple projects
