We are looking for a full-time Reliability Technician for our headquarters in Olathe, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and verifying  the capability and reliability of products and materials, using specialized equipment, devices, and instrumentation. Other essential functions include:

  • Review test requests to determine the appropriate approach for testing products and materials

  • Perform initial inspection of products and materials to assess pre-testing conditions

  • Follow assigned work instructions and special process testing plans to maintain consistency and repeatability in testing

  • Record, log test data, and generate test reports as defined in procedures and test plans with a high degree of accuracy

  • Review, evaluate, and respond to email inquires regarding testing in a prompt and professional manner 

Qualified candidates possess an Associate degree in Electronics Technology or Vocational Certificate in Electronics Technology, or substantially related field AND a minimum of two years related experience OR a minimum of 80 hours towards a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology or a substantially related field OR a high school diploma or GED with previous Military training including electronic equipment troubleshooting AND four or more years of related experience plus five years related experience. Other required skills include:

  • Must possess previous electronic assembly or electronic system test/repair work experience

  • Must possess proficiency and computer experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must demonstrate a high degree of dexterity and eye coordination, to allow for manipulation and handling of small and delicate parts, fixtures and test equipment, in the performance of essential functions

  • Must possess visual acuity to distinguish colors (Red-Green-Blue) and shades of gray, to allow differentiation of colors and textures in materials

Candidates with experience with Automated Test Stations, data acquisition systems, vibration analysis equipment and other electronic diagnostic equipment are preferred! Also prefer candidates with experience with environmental test chambers including, altitude, temperature, humidity, UV exposure, vibration, salt fog, and water ingress.
