Job Description:


An Inspector is responsible for assisting machine operators, checking the quality of the product, completing documentation, operating machinery and completing all assigned tasks. They are responsible for ensuring that the particular machine is performing to production targets and according to Safety, SOP, GMP and FDA regulatory compliance requirements.

Support operation on a particular machine or function in the assigned Department (Unit Dose, Packaging, Tea, Powder) while meeting targeted production numbers with no Quality or Safety infractions.

Operation of various equipment

Inspect and Package product according to specifications.

Understand the specifications indicated on the batch record for each product.

Prepare all necessary supplies and equipment to perform the job.

Ensure Quality requirements of product specifications are met including incoming materials, running work-in-process, and finished product.

Monitor product quality

Assist in filling out appropriate paperwork at the beginning and end of each lot and shift.

Report process and equipment problems to supervisor or lead.

Ensure batch records, equipment logs, and other relevant records are current.

Cleans and maintains processing rooms and equipment.

Follows established department SOP’s, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.

Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner

Ability to work independently or with team.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English;

Basic math skills; proficiency with 10-key calculator;

The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate; plus

Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successful perform the job.

The essential functions of this job require the employee to perform the following physical activities during the course of work:

Communicates orally with management, employees, co-workers, vendors, suppliers, governmental compliance agencies, and the general public by telephone or in person, in one-on-one or group settings.

Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during the course of work shift.

Required to be mobile within the various production areas located on 1st and 2nd stories.

Routinely required to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach, in the performance of job function.

Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.

Lifting requirements for this position: up to 25 kg.

Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus as needed.

Noise level for this work environment is typically moderate.
