Perform instrument/electrical responsibilities necessary to maintain an offshore deepwater production facility in a safe and efficient manner
Positively interacts with office and field personnel in a manner that creates an atmosphere of creativity, cooperation and attention to the safety of all personnel, the environment and Company assets.
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and diagnose work on a wide array of mechanical equipment associated with offshore oil and gas producing operations; including but not limited to: Electrical motors, Electrical switchgear and motor control centers, Distribution transformers, Lighting systems, Diesel and Turbine Generators and associated controls, DC and UPS systems, and Support systems
Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the day-to-day I&E activities
Communicate operational issues and suggest solutions to mechanical problems with supervisor
Continually review operations for ways to improve personnel safety, compliance management, operating cost, and platform production
Monitor and maintain all required facility mechanical records
Attend offsite HAZID's, JHA's, FAT's, etc., as needed
Planning and scheduling with the various crafts for routine repairs and maintenance
Continually enhance the HS&E program and procedures
Identify safety and environmental hazards and assess and control risks
Ensure optimum production targets are achieved safely and job assignments are undertaken and completed in a timely manner
Provide technical expertise as needed and provide cross training for lesser experienced personnel and support the development of peers to achieve their full potential
