DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES



  • Supports PDR Product Marketing leadership teams in the development and execution of marketing programs
  • Communicates with internal teams and content providers to maximize support for third-party products

    • Serves as project coordinator by ensuring readiness/carry-out of third-party marketing launch strategies and leverages key first party marketing initiatives when appropriate;
    • Provides status, direction, recommendations and comments to licensed partners and internal teams
    • Requests, approves, formats and disseminates (either digital or package related) materials for use in marketing related programs
    • Proof-reads and edits marketing submissions and collateral to ensure trademarks, copyrights, and legal compliance
    • Provides direction, recommendations and comments to internal teams regarding marketing and promotional materials


  • Coordinates the approval and execution of third-party product integration into Nintendo consumer marketing programs including experiential events

    • Actively collaborates with Consumer Marketing team in upfront and ongoing development of plans/proposals for consumer promotion programs
    • Works closely with Licensee and development teams to understand overall marketing priorities, key brand messaging and targeted audiences
    • Drives collaboration with external partners and internal teams to ensure flawless execution across all operations, logistics, legal, staffing, product training, digital, aspects of the program
    • Delivers ongoing communication to key external and internal stakeholders on promotional activity including development and distribution of status reports, recaps, analysis and other materials.
    • Performs post-program reporting, ROI , and PDCA activities


  • Prepares documentation and communicates game details to Sales and Marketing group
  • Focuses on assigned products, learning/evaluating all game strengths and selling points through hands-on game play
  • Works closely with documentation from Licensee contacts, understanding input, marketing focus and competitive offering
  • Works closely, effectively, and in cooperation with Licensee partners and internal support staff in reviewing assets, marketing materials, PR and advertising print assets, and digital marketing creative
  • Reviews marketing materials for accuracy to game content and consistency with established key messaging and strategy
  • Formulates and contributes to written game information and analysis in presenting to sales and marketing groups
  • Coordinates the preparation of business overview reports and performs ad hoc business reporting and analysis as necessary
  • Works closely with designers and management to secure the appropriate brand direction for all newproduct introductions
  • Coordinates product educational materials
  • Maintains databases and files
  • Maintains ongoing knowledge of industry and digital marketing vehicles
  • May be responsible for the day-to-day operational tasks associated with the launch execution of 3rd party content in social media, Nintendo marketing programs, Nintendo sites, Nintendo Direct and eShop; will also contribute to seasonal campaigns and events
  • May be responsible for maintaining on-going projects related to retail catalogs, video loops, launch events, mall tours as well as other related initiatives
  • Work assignments may vary and can be focused on digital, public-relations, events or advertising related initiatives
