Position Overview:

This is a high visibility role that supports a range of financial activities for the US Affiliate including leading various projects that deliver continuous improvement of processes and financial outcomes to the affiliate. The position involves exposure to senior leaders across the organization and offers the opportunity to drive initiatives across all parts of the business.

Responsibilities:


  • Support financial planning and forecasting processes (Profit Plan & Forecasts) for the US to ensure a timely, high quality submission

  • Lead various continuous improvement projects across the US affiliate in order to enhance processes and financial outcomes. Goal is drive IBT improvement of $5m annually

  • Support the CFO and finance leads in the preparation of reviews with Global Finance

  • Partner with the analytics group to continuously improve our analytics capability that helps drive data and insights based decisions

  • Be an effective back up; provide ad-hoc business support on business cases and projects

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree with concentration/emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics - Completed by June 2020

  • Language fluency in English (written and verbal)

  • Strong computer skills with Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Skills/Preferences:


  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence

  • Clearly demonstrated analytical thought and aptitude

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

  • Three or more accounting courses

  • Experience with PowerBI, TM1 and SAP

  • Position will be located at Greenfield, Indiana at Elanco's headquarters

  • Travel - 0-10%
