The Automation Solutions Analyst acts as a liaison between Line of Business partners, Operations, and IT in identifying and analyzing current workflows that have the potential to create efficiencies and/or enhance client experiences. This role will collaborate with the automation team to develop solutions are stable, scalable, and align with the strategic goals of the company. The Analyst will also assist with the monitoring of production processes for error rates, process run times, and throughput rates to ensure operational goals are being met. This position will also be responsible for value creation, curation of opportunities, and a thorough analysis of current processes to assist in the curation phase. A heavy emphasis is placed on the process evaluation/analysis phase.
Assist the Automation Solutions Analyst II with the vision and strategy for the Office of Operating Excellence. Assist the Automation Solutions Analyst II to define the program framework, governance, organizational structure, planning processes, objectives and priorities
Monitors new developments and industry best practices to incorporate into operational management and planning for enterprise systems
Business process optimization through strategic use of technology
Serve as an expert to Line of Business managers seeking to utilize RPA technologies to automate and streamline existing processes.
The ASA I will assist in the development, promotion, and utilization of best practices for the RPA Office of Excellence
Assist with the analysis of business processes, identify automation opportunities, define RPA value proposition, reengineer process to improve automation potential and recommend RPA approach/strategy
Conduct RPA High Level Assessments with a focus on creating efficiencies, increasing revenue, decreasing cost, and enhancing the client and associate experience
Assist the Automations Solutions Analyst II with strategies to develop "As Is" Process Description Document, detailed "To Be" automated process description, and a Solution Design Document
Assist with the development of RPA client architecture and solution proposal focusing on scalability and extensibility
Assist with the development of high level project plans for implementation projects
Assist with implementation, testing, and deploying targeted automation solutions using industry leading RPA tools, ensuring that all requirements, testing, and implementation steps are clearly defined and documented
Work with teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures
Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture
Provide continuous updates to RPA stakeholders and Project Manager during project delivery
Build relationships across the organization to ensure roadblocks to process automation adoption are addressed
Chart and implement business process automation journeys from an existing initial implementation to a robust scalable model
Consult with clients and partners to provide functional and technical expertise in areas including solution design, project management, business process improvement and risk identification/mitigation
Maintain a current and thorough understanding of process automation and technology integration products and services
Assists with the establishment of standards of operation and helps to build executive management metrics of value, performance, and responsiveness
Work with RPA team to develop and report a set of standard key performance indicators
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job:
5+ years of professional working experience in the financial services industry preferably with strong process automation transformation experience.
Experience in Design & Implementation of Process Automation.
2 years of professional experience on automation and/or integration projects
Advanced analytical skills to achieve business and technical requirements
Good exposure to Business process analysis and automation
A deep understanding of the interdependent relationship between business applications, modern integration platforms, infrastructure, data enablement, and the applications/services they enable as well as the criticality of maintaining strong connections between the respective teams within IT and key business partners
The ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches with well documented, supportable and extensible solutions
Ability to assist in providing end user training and support; ability to debug root cause of issues
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
An understanding of the core and supporting business processes used in financial and banking services is essential.
Aptitude for quickly learning new platforms and their associated SDK
Adept in RPA processes and systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
