OVERVIEW: The Family Team Conference (FTCCoordinator) schedules and tracks required conferences for programs andfacilitates conferences that are not facilitated by ACS. The purpose isto assist the team to make quality decisions related to child safety,well-being and permanency. In addition, the facilitator provides supportto program staff and families. FTC Coordinators work with multipleborough-based programs.
Include but not limited to
Master's degree and License in Social Work, (LMSW, LCSW preferred)or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) and a minimum of 18 months of experiencewith children and families preferably in a child welfare setting.
Master's degree without a license with 5 years of work experiencein a child welfare setting.
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in a childwelfare setting.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Bilingual/Bicultural Spanish. Knowledge of motivational interviewing family systems theory, and/ortrauma-informed care. Good, strengths-based engagement and facilitationskills, as well as strong organizational skills.
