Job Summary

The Sr. Accountant provides business and financial support to Anchor Wall Systems (a Division of Oldcastle APG) management and staff.  This position is responsible for overseeing the financial management and control processes of AWS, directly oversee the disbursements, billing, cash receipts, and mold management functions. 

  • Perform general accounting functions including but not limited to reporting, forecasting, budget preparation, purchasing, credit and collections, and sales analysis. 

  • Evaluate information and generate various sales, inventory, and customer order reports; analyze business trends, and provide the results of this analysis to internal customers. 

  • Analysis of financial statement results, including the generation of clear and meaningful analytical data for managers.

  • Work with departments for the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including the preparation of necessary supporting documentation and justification.

  • Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.

  • Accurate and timely dissemination of financial reports to internal and external users.

  • Ensure corporate compliance with government reporting requirements (i.e. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment law requirements, annual censuses).

  • Coordinate preparation of audit materials and financial reports.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a closely-related field and/or relative experience. 

  • 5 plus years’ experience with a progressive track record in accounting disciplines and other accounting responsibilities

  • A minimum of 2 plus years prior leadership experience

  • Solid understanding and execution of cost accounting, including experience in setting standards and cost analysis

  • Public Accounting experience (CPA certification) is desired

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
