Partner with Customers, Partners, Equinix Product, Engineering & IT teams to manage and lead key Customer and Partner API Integrations
Coach and mentor team members to meet objectives and key results, adhering to their responsibilities and milestones
Develop and deliver compelling presentations, API demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive awareness and adoption of Equinix API ecosystem.
Be a thought leader in evolving API and Developer experience for customers
Act as an API evangelist and deeply understand customers and partner developers to ensure they have all the things they need to be successful,
Gain industry recognition and credibility in your own right as a regular attendee, panelist and speaker at API conferences and third-party technology conferences, ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Invest time in building & nurturing talent

BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 10+ years of software development experience; or master’s degree with 8+ years of working experience or 14+ years in the field of Information Technology, Software or Computer Science Engineering.
An obsession with customer experience, product fidelity, developer documentation, API ecosystem and exceptional developer experience.
5+ years of experience working directly with customers & stakeholders providing business & technology solutions.
5+ years of experience in coaching, mentoring and managing teams in a globally distributed environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
Working experience with Swagger (Open API Spec), OAuth, REST, JSON, XML & other API Standards
Strong analytical skills & technical acumen along with knowledge of product management principles.
Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty.
A high sense of ownership, passion, and conviction.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively.
