The Medicare Sales Agent Manager manages a team of Medicare Field Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed the Plan sales goal. . The Medicare Sales Agent Manager is responsible for motivating & coaching Field Sales Representatives , conducting routine field ride-alongs to observe and improve agent sales technique and ensure adherence to critical Medicare related Compliance guidelines. The Medicare Sales Agent Manager will also be responsible for monitoring sales performance, through various data and reporting metrics, to gain insight and share observations with sales leadership.   • Candidate must be located in Alabama

  • Local Travel, required

  • Coverage ares - Alabama, Mississippi, North Florida

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance, required (mileage reimbursement provided)

  • Valid Producer license to sell Medicare products, required


  • 80% Production and people management focus, driving to achieve and exceed the new sales Plan goal

  • 20% strategy focus - 3-6 month planning with agents and senior management to effectively build and drive the market business strategy and drives sales

  • Plans and executes the local field sales strategy to achieve and exceed the Plan sales goal by supporting representatives in building their book of business and optimizing sales opportunities

  • Develops, motivates, evaluates and coaches Sales Team on lead generation, conversion rate, community and provider development, sales techniques, compliance and performance goals. Is visible and available to staff to answer questions, evaluate results, resolve escalated calls and give ongoing consistent feedback.

  • Schedules formal one-on-one meetings to review and discuss performance to key metrics; goal attainment and career development.

  • Drives team usage and understanding of systems, policies, programs and procedures knowledge.

  • Manages and monitors daily workflow and reporting to ensure business objectives are maintained and accurately reported.

  • Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal business partners and external key contacts to develop and drive additional lead generation and sales opportunities, maintain excellent lines of communication and provide insight and impact.

  • Use reporting tools, product knowledge, and sales strategies to coach, mentor and motivate sales agents.


  • 5 or more years of work experience with 1-2 years of management experience required

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed Plan sales goals

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information

  • Strong time management and organization skills
