The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the monthly consolidation processes and related projects and initiatives. The position will work cross functionally to ensure financial results are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and financial statement disclosure requirements. Also, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for working with the Auditors for the timely issuance of the Company s audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.


* Monthly consolidation of worldwide financial results in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including loading data from various sources, top-side adjustments and elimination entries

* Monthly and quarterly preparation and distribution of management and external financial reporting packages including the development of more formal reporting package for the key stakeholders of the Company

* Compilation/distribution/loading of EOM and Monthly Average foreign exchange rates compared to USD and CAD for numerous currencies

* Recommends, implements, maintains and monitors financial accounting and reporting processes, policies and systems. Continuously focuses on processes to improve and to simplify the financial accounting and reporting process

* Prepares initial bank covenant calculations

* Lead HFM Administrator for the company

* Key role in annual financial audit

* Be a trusted business partner and advisor to various stakeholders within Finance, Accounting and across the company including Legal, Business and Tax

* Ad hoc projects as needed


* Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement disclosure requirements

* Understanding of financial accounting cycle and month-end closing process

* Proficiency with Excel and other business software applications

* Proven ability to work as a team member

* Good communication skills

* Self-motivated

* Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize

* Strong attention to detail


* B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; concentration in Accounting preferred

* CPA designation preferred

* Well established knowledge of IFRS

* Public Accounting experience preferred

* Relevant work experience in accounting field

* In-depth, hands-on experience with HFM or similar consolidation software required

* Experience with Oracle Financial and Microsoft Dynamics applications preferred
