Design moderate to complex products and features that directly impact the consumer experience. Design innovative solutions by collaborating with all involved teams and support new and existing features across multiple applications.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Designs mockups to support product requirements
Takes initiative to work closely with the greater design team and product to suggest refinements based on analytics and feedback
Actively and independently acquires knowledge of new design techniques
Works closely with the greater design team to respond, clarify or define specific application look and feel
Works with the UI Director, product team, and development team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables
Works closely with the wider design team to drive cross-platform consistency
Assists in the delivery of design specifications and assets suitable for implementation
Organizes files and follow all established design patterns when applicable
Participates in design and wireframe reviews and brainstorming sessions to help solve problems
Mentors other design team members working in the same space
Manages multiple projects and timelines
Ensures the health of the product, feature, and relationships with clients
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to demonstrate excellent UI design skills via portfolio
Strong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
Strong understanding of UX best practices
Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience leading projects from a visual perspective and driving consistency
Ability to communicate ideas to a larger team
Bachelor's degree in Design / Art / Media / Related Field , or equivalent real world experience.
Related Work Experience
Digital design experience: 6-8 years-
Proficient with common interface design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch)
Proficient with basic prototyping tools (Invision, Flinto, Marvel, etc)
