Position Overview:

The Business Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring new small to medium sized business customers and growing our existing ones. You’ll use your consulting skills to identify customer challenges and provide our products and services to help them. You’ll use your drive and expertise to develop and deliver our solutions that won’t just satisfy our clients but delight them.  This position is expected to meet/exceed monthly sales quotas and weekly activity goals to include appointments, proposals and closing prospects that fall within the scope of the GoWireless B2B Platform.  This position reports to the National Sales Director of B2B.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customer needs and recommending innovative solutions.

  • Seeking out new growth opportunities and generating new sales leads.

  • Packaging solutions or creating new ones to meet the customer need.

  • Writing proposals, closing sales and agreements.

  • Following up to make sure our customers stay happy—and to see how else we can help.

  • Managing your sales pipeline and activity with sales management tools.

  • Generating forecasting and tracking reports.

  • Keeping up with new offerings and market trends through training and your own research.

Minimum Qualifications:

You believe in the products you sell, and this is evident to everyone you talk to. You’re the type of person who never gives up and has strong follow-through. You’re relentless about cold and warm calling to make sales and keep customers happy. You’re comfortable speaking, influencing, and negotiating with all different types of people—and you know how to flex your style to the situation. At the end of the day – you thrive on helping people as the hallmark for your sales approach.

You’ll need to have:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience

  • 2-3 years of account prospecting/outside sales experience

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota

  • The drive to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adjust your message to suit the audience.

  • Managing your sales pipeline and activity with sales management tools.

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Significant experience in B2B sales

  • 1 yr. experience in Wireless telecommunications desired

  • Proactive strategic thinking with a strong sales mentality and creative problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with technology in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace

  • Demonstrated ability to function and communicate effectively at senior levels within a matrix business environment

  • Proficient computer skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of time standing

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time

  • Must be willing and able to work in front of a computer monitor for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to work on a standard computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  • Repetitive motion tasks while doing computer work

  • Exposure to active wireless equipment, signals and transmissions
