Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope®, a CRH company, is the leading supplier of products specified to close the building envelope. They include: custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass.
Performs repetitive work station operations to assemble architectural aluminum windows and trim.
Be able to able to read and interpret blueprints
Be able to perform assembly of windows with proper instructions and use of tools.
Must be proficient in operating saws and milling machines.
Must be able to produce a quality product with a minimum of scrap.
Must be experienced with all standard products and be able to solve problems as they arise.
Be able to learn assembly of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope’s standard systems.
Be able to work on specials, radius and unusual windows
Must be able to read/use a tape measure.
Be able to learn correct basic sealing techniques.
Be able to clean & apply Sealants
Be able to drill & attach Hardware
Be able to assemble (final fit ) the window
Inspect assembled windows
Must be knowledgeable in all assembly techniques.
Must be able to work with minimum of direct supervision.
Must be able to /not more than lift/move maximum of 75 lbs. intermittently.
Must be able to stand on his/her feet for 10 hours plus be able to reach, bend, twist intermittently
Regular and predictable attendance safely perform task and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.
Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety boots with metatarsal guards and stand for extended periods of time.
Able to work a flexible starting schedule and/or overtime
