Job Description:

The Chief Transformation Officer will report to the President and CEO of Rite-Hite and will be responsible for the day-to-day driving / tracking of the key transformation initiatives that will increase the company’s value.  The role will be tasked with optimizing business processes, such as distribution, marketing, communications and collaboration.  Additionally, the Chief Transformation Officer will focus on building the company’s technological vision, evaluating and implementing new technology strategies, and ensuring that the technical resources are aligned with the company’s business needs. This person will ensure business leadership understands emerging technology opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Rite-Hite products, services, and distribution strategies across operating companies.

Monitor the competitive and technological landscape for tools that can be utilized by Rite-Hite to transform our overall strategy and execution (ranging from internal process improvement to new product development / offerings and distribution). Ensure Rite-Hite’s technology strategy serves its business strategy.

This position will work closely with Corporate Development to identify and vet investment opportunities and strategic partnerships related to products and distribution strategies and technologies.

This position serves as the “face of the project” for development and implementation of new systems and strategies and, in some cases, may have long-term ownership for their administration and success. The position works within the greater Rite-Hite organization, including both internal groups as well as outside channels to initiate and complete projects, securing buy-in from necessary stakeholders, identifying and securing required resources, leadership of the initiative, coordinating and executing training for personnel, and tracking performance post-implementation.

Collaborate with all key Rite-Hite stakeholders: product companies, sales, management, and marketing. Understand how each area operates, including tactics and tools, and help them achieve their goals. Make recommendations and provide ideas to each stakeholder, and utilize their input to optimize results.

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying needs for each project team and working with stakeholders to ensure needed resources and support from their group are made available.

This position is responsible for continually assessing existing processes, determining if they can be re-engineered to better deliver on Rite-Hite stakeholder objectives, and lead the re-engineering of those processes, including building consensus and buy-in from the affected parties.

Use your knowledge of Rite-Hite systems, products, and customers to provide a 360 degree view of the customer, and identify opportunities to serve our customers better and provide the products and information they need, when they need it.

Required Experience:

Rite-Hite sells the best, and we hire the best. The successful candidate will combine a BS or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related field with 10+ years of related experience, preferably including:


  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors to deliver results.

  • Understanding of significant aspects of technologies, business models, and regulations relevant for the industry.

  • Demonstrated success in defining a culture of innovation and driving dramatic growth through new revenue sources.

  • Ability to lead transformational change at scale and pace.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally, developing business cases, running pilot/proof of concepts and scaling up/out across the enterprises.
