Takeda’s Immuno-Oncology team is seeking a highly-motivated logistics and project coordinator for key shipping and data management tasks.
We are seeking a candidate familiar with handling chemical and biological materials and understanding their storage requirements; able to learn new and complex administrative processes; skilled in working closely across teams; and oriented toward customer service.
The successful candidate will support research at the forefront of immuno-oncology, a field that is bringing revolutionary treatments to oncology patients.
Manage shipment of biological and chemical materials to ensure timely delivery and sample integrity
Track packages, manage shipment receipts, and resolve any issues for local, domestic and international shipments
Communicate clearly with all parties, external and internal, to confirm activity and to troubleshoot any issues that might arise; maintain cordial, professional working relationships
Keep impeccable, consistent records of all relevant data
Liaise with relevant groups within Takeda to ensure process and compliance given local regulatory conditions
Reconcile and communicate any issues in a timely matter, specifically related to samples, process, and results
Independently manages tasks related to shipment and data storage
Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
Good communications skills, both oral and written
Able to liaise between different groups to facilitate shared desired outcome
Strong team player who thrives in a dynamic, ‘biotech-like’ environment
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:High school diploma with 6+ years experience, or AA with 2+ years experience
