Job Description:

SUMMARY


This position is responsible for lending system administration, providing support for software and integrations, along with participation in special projects and process improvements.


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Serve as a lending system administrator, address user issues, oversee user access and authorities as well as coordinate upgrades and maintenance.

  • Position is responsible for updating content within the lending system, including but not necessarily limited to table updates, building and distributing reports, and verifying the accuracy and integrity of the system.

  • Configure and/or modify templates for financial models, milestones, modules, credit memorandums, summaries and reports for use within the various lending system applications.

  • Provides support and troubleshooting for a broad range of loan support questions and expertise for specific lending system applications.

  • Facilitate testing, and analysis of features of new releases, products and software upgrades.

  • Create and maintain Change Management logs for all lending system applications.

  • Establish, review, and update new and existing reports and procedures on a regular basis.

  • Serve as liaison between the bank and the vendor for system updates, new product knowledge, and any system maintenance issues.

  • Participate in technology related committees.

  • Coordinate with Information Technology to maintain loan data integration with the core system. This includes monitoring core updates for their effect on the system as well as updating IT as to the impact of system updates.


 



Additional Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Analyze loan data on new, renewal, and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions, and Riverview Community Bank

  • Serve as a resource to bank associates and project managers regarding a broad range of loan system application questions.

  • Project friendliness and professionalism in both appearance and attitude when dealing with customers in order to present a positive Riverview Community Bank image.

  • Maintain current knowledge of bank operations, procedures and Riverview Loan policy.

  • Provide technical advice and assistance to credit administrators as needed.

  • Follow all state and federal laws, and all Riverview Community Bank policies and procedures.

  • Other duties may be assigned

 


RELATIONSHIPS:



  • Daily contact with Supervisor, Chief Credit Officer, Chief Lending Officer and other Credit Administrators to receive direction and interpretation on existing and new procedures.

  • Periodic contact with Commercial Lending and Retail Lending Teams members in regard to loan data integrity, annual loan reviews, document exceptions and covenant exceptions

  • Frequent contact with Loan Servicing Department head and supervisory staff to facilitate data maintenance and reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or technical school. Three or more years related experience with strong technical system skills and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


 


SKILLS:



  • Must have the ability to perform system analysis related to lending systems and be able to project and respond to the needs of those utilizing the system.

  • Prefer CreditQuest or Encompass system analysis experience.

  • Prefer advanced technical knowledge relating to Microsoft Office Suite programs, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in a timely manner.

 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms in handling and accessing files.  The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  In handling files, manuals and other printed materials; the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision in working with computers and documents.


 


WORK ENVIRONMENT


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock in working with standard office equipment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
