Position SummaryReporting to the Director - Strategic Marketing this position will be responsible for processing, mining and analyzing business data to improve decision making across cross-functional teams that include marketing, finance, materials and operations stakeholders. This position supports the Industrial Equipment group by providing accurate and timely analysis on identification and evaluation of business results, business trends, customer mix, new customer and market growth opportunities. This position will be based in the Milwaukee, WI metro area.Responsibilities* Collects and analyzes data to evaluate one or more of the following: business results, business trends, user behavior, customer acquisition, loyalty, competitive landscape, cost/benefit and value attributed to marketing activities.* Identifies and monitors competitors, web traffic and researches conditions or changes in customer behavior that may affect sales and formulates effective marketing techniques.* Develop compelling business case(s) for key initiatives including detailed market and financial analysis* Support the sales team, other cross functional groups and corporate marketing on sector strategy, action plans and execution* Understand competitive landscape, collect VOC (voice of customer) and complete specific research projects in support of product & strategic planning process, and assist developing unique value propositions for products* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.* Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
