POSITION DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF WORK:

Alpha Omega Integration (Alpha Omega) is searching for a dynamic and motivated Senior Contracts Manager, who can work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced government-contracting environment.

The Sr. Contracts Manager will be an integrated and vital member of Alpha Omega s energetic and diverse corporate team. In this role, a successful candidate will be able to prioritize work activities and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization. The Senior Contracts Manager will frequently interact with external customers and business partners, Alpha Omega departments, functional peers, and management. In addition to operations activities, the Senior Contracts Manager may be required to support ongoing business development strategy, growth opportunities and re-competes.

The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for the creation and execution of all contractual aspects including prime and subcontract awards, task orders, supplier agreements and contract modifications. In this capacity, he or she will serve as the primary contact for all contractual aspects of new and existing services for Alpha Omega s customer base. He or she will interface heavily with customers and external team members to support compliance, negotiation, and execution of contracts at the prime and subcontractor levels. Additionally, the Senior Contracts Manager will participate in all facets of internal/external reporting on the status of contract data requirements and deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Supports all aspects of prime and subcontract administration including document creation and revision, facilitation of contract execution, quality and compliance reviews, and negotiations

? Reviews NDAs, TAs, prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders and modifications

? Processes contract-related actions requested by the program management team

? Works in conjunction with program management, program control, accounting, security and business development in support of contract administration and management

? Maintains and updates contract backlog

? Monitors and modifies funding levels for prime and subcontracts

? Ensures compliance with contractual terms and conditions, flow down requirements, and accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations

? Prepares and maintains reporting and tracking mechanisms for internal/external distribution

? Completes annual compliance reporting and contract mod reporting

? Drafts and negotiates terms and conditions for agreements, including consulting service agreements, TAs and NDAs

? Reviews and updates standard agreement templates while identifying terms and clauses in agreements that represent compliance risks

? Provides input on federal compliance issues

? Liaisons between business units and legal counsel as needed

? Ensures standard contracts practices are implemented and utilized across the organization with a focus on continuous improvement

REQUIRED SKILLS:

? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field

? 5-7 years of direct contracting experience

? Familiarity with contractual negotiations, contract administration, joint venture agreements and contract closeout

? Knowledge of federal laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFARS, and other agency regulations

? Experience providing RFP/RFI/SOW reviews

? Ability to communicate effectively with all parties, internally and externally

? Excellent attention to detail, and advanced organizational skills

? Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in a fast paced challenging environment and manage multiple, competing priorities

? Ability to gain understanding and apply company policies to contract/subcontractor performance

? Ability to utilize independent judgment within defined procedures

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Deadline and closure oriented

? Experience with period of performance (PoP) issues

? Excellent research and data collection skills

? Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, etc.)

? Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 5

DESIRED SKILLS:

? Experience drafting subcontract technical terms, developing negotiation strategies and providing directions to team members on management and oversight of all subcontract agreements

? Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong business relationships

? Understanding of best value criteria for procurement of products and services

? Demonstrated application and interpretation of Federal Acquisition Regulations

? Experience with application of flow-down provisions to subcontractors

? Experience with administration of high dollar, multi-year, complex contract vehicles
