The Manager - Reimbursement operations is responsible to manage the day to day operations related to the clearance and reimbursement of patients through benefit investigations and the prior authorization process. As such the Manager, the Candidate must act as a liaison and coordinate with appropriate business partners to drive acceptance and completion of these requests in alignment with the overall operational strategy. The Candidate will be responsible to implement and monitor performance metrics, analyze operations and drive strategic enhancements through process and innovative solutions when necessary.The Candidate must stay closely aligned with their business partners to ensure the strategic vision is present in all new communications and an understanding of the strategy is understood by business partners. The Manager must become a subject matter expert on tools and processes in order to effectively manage and lead the team. They will also responsible for managing the intake and review of large scale projects, deliverables, milestones, timelines, decisions, and status as well as the overall success of such assignments from beginning to end. The Candidate will also be responsible for providing regular leader-level updates to keep the organization informed on the health of the business as it relates to role responsibilities.
