A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
Responsible for producing and tracking the day to day flow of various reports and Servicing Agreements along with updating and maintaining Policies and Procedures. This position will also be required to create and maintain various adhoc reports to support the Investor Reporting Department.

Primary Accountabilities


  • Collecting and reconciling all Trust Reporting files from the various Trustees to the monthly SLS Investor Reports and researching and responding to all inquiries from the various Credit Risk Agencies.

  • Creating and maintaining various databases for tracking purposes, this will entail tracking, reconciling and reporting all supplemental proceeds on losses, tracking all loss severities.

  • Collecting and reviewing servicing agreements to ensure servicing, reporting and remittance timelines are met. This will require working with the Investor Reporting Managers, the Compliance Manager and the Transactions Managers at TWG and Wachovia.

  • Collecting and reviewing all Sale Files, Prefund Files and Loan Substitution Files to ensure Loan Accounting, Inventory Management and Investor Reporting has performed all necessary tasks prior to the stated cutoff.

  • Creating and maintaining Investor Reporting Policies and Procedures and creating process flows for all Investor Reporting processes.

  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • Computer Skills:


    • Excel, Access, Word, Accounting software, Internet software and MortgageServ or other mortgage servicing systems.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred or two to three years Mortgage Servicing industry experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting fundamentals and/or investor reporting requirements is preferred.

  • Accounting experience desirable.


Language Ability

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.


Mathematical Ability
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
