Reporting to the AVP of Sales Management, the Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and developing partnerships with vendors with a primary focus on generating new application opportunities with customers.
The Business Development representative is an entry level originations position that serves as the entry point for a comprehensive lease / loan sales training platform.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Research prospects and identify key decision makers to discuss the value proposition of partnering with Small Business Solutions
Present a highly automated technology tool for partnerships to utilize with their customer base
Partner with transactional sales representatives to convert the new vendor referred customers into viable opportunities
Maintain CRM system data integrity
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field / degree with relevant professional experience required
1+ year of prior sales experience strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels
Strong Customer Service skills
Salesforce / CRM experience preferred
Client-focused, proactive and results-oriented.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Word
