The Logistics & Procurement Controller will serve as a key financial lead to support the global Logistics & Procurement function. Involvement will include internal management reporting, key performance metric development and reporting, forecast and planning models and ad-hoc business analysis. Reporting directly to the EVP of Procurement & Logistics and the Director FP&A. Key Business Partner to the VP of Logistics, VP Global Commodities and VP Indirect Procurement.
Prepare internal management reporting and analysis to support operational leadership in daily decision making as well as supporting communications with senior management and the Board of Directors.
Work with the global Procurement & Logistics operations teams, develop useful accurate, meaningful and streamlined reporting to reduce the burden of reporting from the procurement and logistics teams
Develop of budgets and forecasts
Collect consolidate and analyze monthly financial data
Review/validate data for accuracy and consistency and work with any other team necessary to improve accuracy and reliability of data
Ensure correct financial reporting across all business units through coordination with finance teams in every business unit and the corporate finance team
Assist in preparing monthly results deck for distribution to management and Board of Directors
Provide all necessary support to help the team achieve the Mauser Platform Optimization ("MPO") goals, a $140M+ global cost optimization project optimizing the integration of business processes across all business units - Logistics and Procurement are the two biggest contributing functions to MPO.
Define, prepare and streamline analysis to support MPO reporting and forecasting to the various SBU financial teams, the global FP&A team and the logistics and procurement team.
Job Requirements Key requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
7+ years of experience with 3-5 years of FP&A and a manufacturing finance background is preferred
Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Experience with Oracle Hyperion considered a plus
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership with projects
Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
Must possess excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Must possess strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and business processes
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities change quickly and multi-tasking is key to success
This is a hands-on position and a successful candidate will have to roll up their sleeves to succeed. He or she must be able to "deep dive" into the details of the business while staying focused on the big picture and be able to conceptualize both problems and solutions
