Job Description:

Premier manufacturer and distributor of precision equipment seeks Embedded Design Engineer to join their engineering team. Position will participate in design of new hardware for new product development as well as maintain existing hardware and software in current products. Position will also design and develop embedded software for products as part of a design team. Position will be exposed to all aspects of product development. This company sells equipment in over 50 countries. Position will be located in the Louisville, KY / So. Indiana region. Highlighted Duties:

* Embedded software design and development, primarily in C# or Java

* Analog and digital electronic circuit design

* Develop interfaces with different operating systems

* Design, code, debug and test software

* Design operator interface hardware and software

* Provide input on product design (features, software, and components) as well as life cycle planning

* Develop technical and compliance reporting

Highlighted Requirements:

* Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering preferred

* Team oriented personality needed for this position

* 3+ years of experience with software design and testing

* Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, assembly language, VB

* Proven ability with embedded programming and software troubleshooting

* Experience with printed circuit board design

* Experience with optics or android programming a plus
