Basic Job Functions: The roles of entry level operations support include Warehouse Counter, Scale House Clerk and QA Technician. The basic functions of each include but are not limited to:
Warehouse Counter: Data entry, cycle counting, forklift operation, receiving, waiting on customers and generally supporting our operations and maintenance teams in safely maximizing uptime.
Scale House Clerk: Operating critical first and last point of contact on all raw materials and finished goods deliveries and shipments. Taking care of our trucking partners while ensure accurate data and record keeping. Supporting our traffic and shipping teams in ensure we safely take care of our customers.
Quality Assurance Technician: Ensure our finished product quality standards are met through inspecting, measuring and testing all steel products. Communicating and coordinating with production to continual improve in quality.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications: Able to work rotating shifts
Preferred Qualifications: Computer skills, working with Microsoft word and excel as well as data entry
