The Bus/Bus Shelter Washer will be responsible for exterior washing and minor servicing of fleet vehicles, assist in fleet maintenance daily operations and able to work in various weather elements outdoors.

This is an MTM Transit position located in Stuart, FL.

Responsibilities:


  • Performs weekly exterior washing of every vehicle in the transit fleet

  • Moves vehicle to dedicated washing area and parks vehicles according to facility plan

  • Documents and reports all fleet damage to Maintenance Manager

  • Performs monthly bus shelter cleaning and maintenance according to County guidelines

  • Submits work orders related to other maintenance that needs to be done at shelter locations

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • Must possess a CDL class B with Air-brake Testing

Competency Based Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good organizational skills with attention to timeliness and details

  • Ability to work flexible hours as required

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

  • Regular attendance is required
