Engineering opportunities exist in electric and gas in our power plants, generation, distribution, field operations, renewables, and corporate service units.

Job Responsibilities may include:
Engineering assignments of limited scope and complexity on a variety of projects and assignments in support of both field and/or staff roles.
Evaluation of system performance through modeling, development of system designs, overseeing construction, maintenance and/or operations activities, incident investigations, troubleshooting systems and equipment and testing materials.
Preparation of engineering designs and performing basic engineering calculations.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Performing basic equipment testing, troubleshooting and data analysis and supporting more advanced troubleshooting activities. Supporting and learning performance monitoring/optimization tools to ensure improved equipment and system reliability, efficiency and performance.
Preparation of material and construction specifications and cost estimates, reviewing and/or checking internal and external construction plans, updating as needed and implementing construction activity for projects.
Monitoring project status versus the plan. Preparing and submitting progress and cost tracking reports. Creating basic estimates for labor, equipment and material resources needed. Generating alternatives that could meet project requirements. Conducting economic analyses to support decision making on best alternative.
Knowledge of basic codes, standards and regulations within discipline.

Engineer positionsare part of the Engineering job family (Associate Engineer/Engineer/Sr Engineer), experience is the determining factor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree - Engineering (i.e. electrical, civil, mechanical, chemical)
Relevant engineering experience (internship/co-op experience may also be included as relevant engineering experience)
