Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vertiv is hiring two key Program Managers for the newly
created Compensation Center of Excellence supporting Vertiv’s global
compensation programs. The program managers will design, develop and have
responsibility for implementing the following global compensation programs: Workforce
Compensation module of the Oracle HCM including alignment with the Vertiv
Talent Review program, global short-term incentive program inventory and design
alignment, job architecture development and governance, development and
implementation of a market pricing tool including ongoing development and other
key global compensation programs.  Strong
alignment with regional reward leaders will be expected.

 
Responsibilities
Base Pay & Incentive Plan Management:


  • Lead a cross-regional team in the design and implementation of Vertiv’s
    compensation planning tool (Workforce Compensation Module in Oracle HCM), including
    merit increases, STI plan management and other programs as designed.

  • Partners effectively with Global Business Solutions, HRIS and HR
    leadership across the organization to seamlessly run these programs.

  • Create and manage an inventory of the short-term incentive
    programs existing globally.

  • Effectively manage the global STI participation information for
    the company, including auditing metrics, targets and final results.

  • Manage the communication of the STI program during Q1 and
    throughout the year as new hires are onboarded.

  • Partner with regional reward leaders to implement new incentive
    programs or designs.

Global Job Architecture & Market Pricing Tool:

  • Analyze current job structure and manage changes to ensure alignment
    to the organization as it continues to grow and change.

  • Propose changes and manage the process of mapping employees to the
    correct jobs by effectively partnering with HR leaders.

  • As developed, manage job evaluations and grade assignments of the
    job architecture.

  • Manage a set of standard job capsules and ladders. Remain tied
    into the Learning & Development team to ensure appropriate job
    ladder/lattices are created to support the organization.

  • Manage the implementation of a compensation management tool,
    ensuring consistency and alignment of market pricing efforts across the
    organization. 

  • Partner with regional reward leaders to ensure market data is
    analyzed and prepared effectively.

Other global reward programs and responsibilities:

  • May participate in development and administration of Vertiv’s
    long-term incentive program.

  • Assist with development and maintenance of reporting needs related
    to compensation data for the organization.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of a comprehensive
    training program and communications plan for Human Resources (Talent and HR Business
    Partners), business leaders, managers and employees on compensation structure
    and related policies/procedures.

  • Ensure compensation programs are administered in compliance with
    company policies as well as applicable federal and state regulations or
    legislation, including applicable wage and hour regulations, and Data Privacy
    and Protection Guidelines.



QUALIFICATIONS:

·        
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a
Major in business administration, accounting, finance, human resource
management preferred

·        
A minimum of 6 years of experience with broad-based global compensation
programs, including planning, development and administration of programs. (2+
years as a compensation manager preferred)

·        
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the
ability to interact, collaborate and influence others effectively within HR, at
the executive level, and cross-functionally

·        
Knowledge of building and maintaining compensation structures

·        
Strong project management/organizational skills

·        
Advanced Excel skills

·        
Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills

·        
Working knowledge of HR Information Systems and related reported (Oracle
preferred)
