Job Description:

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking a Stock Item Ordering & Materials Reconciliation for a client located in Bay City TX.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform the development of tender specifications for Corporate Contracts in-line with business expectations, risk perspectives and applicable laws.
  • Execute the full contract cycle for Corporate Departments from pre-award to post-award and carry out the contract (including the tender-board approvals).
  • Conduct negotiations with vendors to realize the total economic value to the company considering quality and cost.
  • Support tendering activities and contract management activities in alignment with the organization's policy and code of ethics to ensure the right contracts are in place to deliver value to internal customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers within the region to ensure positive, constructive and cost-effective commercial agreements for the company.
  • Maintain excellent and regular communication with Government affairs and key customers to ensure timely getting the DEL from Ministries for exemption.
  • Monitor market trends and provide accurate supply information to internal customers.
  • Continuously update the tracking tool with the latest tendering / contracts' information and details.
  • Maintain HSE as a priority through compliance with HSE rules. Ensure that all contracts are fully compliant with company HSE policies.
  • Collaborate with the ICV team to ensure that In Country Value (ICV) are in place wherever applicable.
  • Process all Procurement activities for stock items and check wither linked to long-term price agreements.
  • Work with concerned departments to establish Long-term price agreements for stock items.
  • Conduct the stock count in accordance periodic stock check plan. Once the stock check completed. Ensure the timely reconciliation has been done.
  • Expediting the delivery of stock items to ensure the timely delivery at site. Prepare follow-up delivery sheets report of all outstanding deliveries and updates relevant Procurement Team and user departments accordingly.
  • Prepares a variety of shipping documents required to facilitate import/export in-out the Country and coordinate with shipping agencies. These include bill of lading, exemption of duties letters, and certificate of origin.
  • Process all supplier registration requests according to company procedures.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and various Procurement and Logistics reports.
  • Carry out periodical Stock Taking activities company Warehouses whenever it is required and arrange all necessary updates.
  • Achieves Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and suitable Key Performance Indicators for the department.
  • Maintain excellent and regular communication with key customers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls, and continuously identify and recommend improvements while.
  • Automate the processes wherever is applicable.

Support the integration program as needed.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Relevant experience and or capabilities in a similar role will be preferred
  • Good knowledge about SAP MM and WM modules.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, Word and ERP systems
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Strong Communication and Negotiation skills
