Job Description:

What you will do:
? Lead the efforts of the Crisis Services Team in navigating safe shelter options and diversion strategies for survivors of violence.
? Provide case management services to shelter guests, supporting in housing readiness, safety planning, and access to resources in preparation to exit shelter safely.
? Provide victim advocacy and education to survivors of violence.
? Support the team in maintaining the shelter facility.
? Understand, align with and practice under the following philosophies/models: Housing First Model, Trauma-Informed Care, Client-Centered Approach, Harm Reduction, and Low-Barrier Shelter.
? Provide advocacy, crisis counseling, and access to housing programs to callers on our crisis line.
? Comply with documentation requirements
? Represent FOF at community and program development meetings as assigned.
