Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to be part of a Consolidation and Technical Accounting department who is collaborative and experienced in consolidations and financial reporting. 

This position is an integral member of the Corporate Finance Group, reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting. This position is responsible for assisting in external financial reporting for URW US consolidated entities on a quarterly and annual basis. The group reports both US GAAP to external parties and IFRS required by our Paris parent entity. In addition, this person will assist in the monitoring for new accounting and/or auditing issues and the effects on the Company.

Responsibilities for the role:


  • Assist in preparation of various URW US consolidated reporting packages

  • Prepare schedules for the quarterly external reporting

  • Prepare schedules for the US GAAP and IFRS quarterly closes

  • Research US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting guidance

  • Assist in preparation of various URW US consolidated audited financial statements

  • Assist Asset Accounting department in preparation of individual stand alone financial statements

  • Special projects and analysis

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by Manager

What we are looking for


  • CPA preferred with ~3 years of public accounting experience in a top 4 accounting firm

  • Real Estate industry experience a plus

  • Private experience in financial reporting and consolidations would be a plus

  • Strong US GAAP and/or IFRS understanding, especially in the application and accounting for cash flows, acquisitions, disposals, and equity accounting

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to present issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task and work with other accounting groups
