Manage all aspects of building operations for a portfolio of offices, plants and warehouses in North America and Canada ensuring that the needs of the business and associates are continually met.
Ensure that all services required to effectively support business operational needs are delivered in an efficient and timely manner at the most appropriate cost. The services include are
Vendor Management Financial Management Process Management People Management Client Satisfaction Knowledge of industry best practices
Facilities Services: custodial services, maintenance and repair programs, property management liaison, refuse removal, safety program, supplies, UPS and generator operations, pest services and utilities Occupant Services: associate moves, on-site beverage and food operations, on-site storage, crisis management special point of contact, event management Services: satellite and/or cable TV, multi-purpose and meeting room set up / breakdown, document management, multi device copier/printing, taxi services, company vehicles programs including storage, maintenance, and fuel cards along with mobile phone administration EOSH (Environmental Health & Occupational Safety) and Security Services: safety program, safety preparedness, safety equipment, security access, security services, security access system badging and CCTV where needed Administration (vendor contracts, PO s, invoices, monthly budget management/rolling estimates, business plan input, business continuity plans and new hire orientation, tenant management Direct, negotiate and ensures contract performance of vendors that provide support services. Plan and manage capital and operating expenses for all facilities related projects. Oversight of major facilities issues and landlord relationships. Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines Manage regulatory compliance across portfolio
Working knowledge of building codes, legal concepts, contract preparation Working knowledge and experience with production facilities, warehousing and office locations Ability to read and interpret construction documents and design drawings Detailed knowledge of building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems along with building life safety systems Detailed knowledge of power redundancy through generators and UPS systems Interaction between building systems and furniture systems Detailed knowledge of commercial construction, engineering, and interior design concepts
