Job Description:

Shipping & Receiving Maintenance Technician

Key responsibilities:

All shipping and receiving of parts and packages.Create shipping labels using FedEx
Create International and special handling shipments
Ordering of shipping supplies

Inventory and track or incoming shipments using spreadsheets and on line tools.
Maintain cleanliness in all electrical, generator, data center and storage rooms
Organize workshop, hallways, storage rooms
Office odd jobs and facility maintenance.
Tape library weekly tape ejects and loads.Handle weekly sending tapes off site to storage vendor.

Dumpster and garage area clean up
Remove all boxes and debris from building.(not already handled by building cleaners.
Maintain tool and parts inventory.
Monitor maintenance vendors as required.
Utilize the work order system for additional work.
Maintain stock levels in the pantry. In there just changed a bit..
Assist in set up / cleanup of site events.
Seasonal outdoor maintenance (water lawns, snow removal from sidewalk)

Requirements:

Must be able to climb ladders over 15
Must be able to work alone and without direction.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Some electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC experience.
Information Systems and technologies to include; Microsoft Office, Outlook (e-mail, Calendar, Contacts), Excel (Spreadsheets)
High school graduate
Service oriented - where customer needs and service levels are the highest priority
Committed to results - where the focus is on objectives and excellent service to the
customer
Team Emphasis - ability to develop an open and collaborative environment towards
strengthening staff relationships in support of business need

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekends, off hours, over time as required to support operations and projects.
