Our client has a long term contract and they are looking to hire immediately. This job will be remote to start then eventually they will want this resource onsite (once it is safe). Client is currently in Watertown but will be moving to Canton in early 2021. Remote to Start then onsite eventually

Systems Engineer
Senior Level Talent
Windows/Linux Systems Engineer with the skills sets to take on the following roles:

* Veritas Netbackup Management chase down failures/issues and open support tickets with vendor. Generate backup status reports and review. Manage Capacity on backup targets and tapes. Install/update fixes and packages. Requires technical expertise with Veritas Netbackup appliances, SLP, policy and capacity management, accelerator, disk pools, MSDP, AMS, backups and restores.

* VMware/ESXi Coordinate and install security fixes and/or other updates, track and document changes. Requires expertise with VMWare Vcenter and ESXi hosts.

* Microsoft SCOM Process monitoring requests for notifications, pursue/troubleshoot alerts and filter out false positives. Support 2016 - 2019 migration currently ongoing.
