ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into the Director of Global Legal Operations, you will be part of the Global Legal Operations team in our Redwood City headquarters. Working with various stakeholders across the Legal department and other departments, the Training Manager will be responsible for developing a holistic training strategy, fostering alignment regarding requirements and priorities and managing of the training program consistent with objectives.

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and results-oriented professional with solid experience and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. To excel in this role, you will have a background in developing and managing a training strategy and program and have the ability to foster relationships with staff across the Legal department to achieve a positive result.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement a training strategy for Legal

*

Training administered to Legal (e.g., new product training, approval policies for contracting)
*

Training administered by Legal (e.g., compliance training, harassment training)

Drive alignment around business needs and objectives for legal training

*

Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize training requirements

Manage training programs

*

Cadence, scheduling and rollout of each training
*

Type of training needed in order to meet the training objective (e.g., medium)
*

Continued evaluation of the effectiveness and relevance of the training programs and materials
*

Compliance; track and manage completion of required training and necessary escalations
*

Manage training lifecycle within a learning management system (LMS)
*

Support learners on LMS access, usage, etc.
*

Generate course metrics to identify areas of improvement
*

Develop and manage metrics/KPIs at the program level

QUALIFICATIONS

*

10+ years completing similar tasks to those above, and within a corporate or legal environment highly preferred
*

5+ years experience managing projects and process preferred
*

1+ years experience defining and managing processes for a global organization required
*

3+ years using systems required
*

Bachelor's degree required
*

Master's degree preferred
*

Experience managing and delivering training via LMS strongly preferred
*

Ability to identify and manage cross-team and cross-project dependencies
*

Ability to anticipate and address issues early
*

Strong analytical skills
*

Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects for various internal customers
*

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
*

Ability to make decisions independently, knowing how and when to escalate issues
*

Experience working directly with business teams and stakeholders
