Maintains records pertaining to the Parkland or assigned department inventory control system and assists in ensuring accurate and current account of hospital inventory.
-Must have an Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
-Must have three years of progressively responsible experience working in an automated inventory environment.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must be able to demonstrate good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
-Must demonstrate proficiency in inventory control procedures and user functions of the inventory processing system.
-Must demonstrate proficiency in operating a PC including mainframe applications such as Lawson and Microsoft Office.
-Must be able to communicate effectively with hospital employees of all levels and vendors to resolve inventory problems.
