Job Summary:

As FVP & CFVP Secretary Support Analyst, you will be offered an opportunity for exposure to a range of strategic topics while working as the support analyst to the First Vice President (FVP) and the Secretary of the Federal Reserve System`s Conference of First Vice Presidents (CFVP). The primary responsibilities are to provide support to the First Vice President and the Secretary of the CFVP to ensure all meetings, projects, requests and communications are performed on time and of the highest quality. You will report to the Secretary of the Conference of First Vice Presidents.

You will provide administrative, analytical and project support to the First Vice President and the CFVP Secretary for all tasks related to the CFVP and several tasks related to the FVP. You will demonstrate skills to collect, analyze, and present data/recommendations, and coordinate assignments across a broad range of operations. Organizational skills and the ability to draft communications for the highest executives in the FRS and the Bank are necessary skills required of this position. End products presented to the FVP and the CFVP should require only minimal input, editing, or correction. You will accomplish tasks with the guidance and prioritization provided by the CFVP Secretary.

This is estimated as a two-year assignment, after which you will rotate to a permanent position in the Bank.

Responsibilities:

You will:


  • Lead projects related to CFVP goals and as directed by the CFVP Secretary.


  • Attend meetings/conference calls to support the CFVP, and in some cases the FVP.

  • Proactively complete responsibilities with a focus on planning that adds value.

  • Provide support with FVP sponsored Bank meetings and CFVP meetings, including providing assistance with creating the agendas, planning administrative support, and developing minutes.

  • Help develop the annual meeting schedule for the leadership of the Bank and the CFVP, including coordinating with other appropriate governance committees and the administrative support staff for each of the FVPs in each Reserve Bank.

  • Provide administrative support for the CFVP`s FedWeb site including annual access compliance reviews and overseeing records retention and archival requirements.

  • Help coordinate the annual performance evaluation for the FSO, LMSO, NPO and semi-annual support office and subcommittee reporting.

  • Update, develop and deliver training plans and materials for incoming FVPs and their support analysts.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the CFVP Secretary or FVP.
