Job Description:

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Job Location: Gainesville, GA

Summary: To support the Commercial Business and Construction (B&C) Program Manager and his/her team in the accurate and timely reporting of daily, monthly and annual financial and nonfinancial data for the Gainesville, GA location. Provide financial data and assistance to both manufacturing and the management team. This position reports directly to the Commercial B&C Program Manager with functional reporting to the SE Regional Controller. The appropriate candidate for this position is results oriented, team player, self-starting, dynamic, flexible and strongly motivated to succeed and deliver.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly KPI analysis to the Commercial B&C team
  • Coordinate with plant resources and the B&C Customer Service Coordinator to ensure material routings in the system are reflective of the manufacturing process
  • Participate in the development of project specific risk- assessment and action plans to mitigate risks specific to each project
  • Provide Commercial B&C management team with customer market/cost analysis, as well as project and program level P&L analysis to quantify planned vs. actual, total EBIT contribution, and margins per unit
  • Provide financial analysis for capital spending projects and assist in the preparation of Requests for Authorizations to obtain approvals required for Commercial B&C projects.
  • Manage product inventory requirements and improvement of accuracy of inventory transactions
  • Manage the monthly reconciliation- process for Commercial B&C projects (settling customer claims, etc.)


Job Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience of related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications preferred
  • Experience with HFM, AS400, SAP and Oracle applications highly preferred
  • Proven analytical and problem- solving skills
  • Ability to think "out of the box" and "on your feet"
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; highly energetic and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and effectively communicate
