Job Description CFS Brands is seeking to hire a Director of Information Technology reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Departmental plans and projects based on organizational priorities. This includes aligning IT operational processes with business needs, managing departmental budgets (project, operating, and capital), ensuring that Departmental standards and technology best practices are consistently met, and assessing whether the Department's areas are appropriately resourced based on the direction and emphasis of organizational demands.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Develop Departmental operating plans to carry out the technology vision and leverage digital best practices across the organization.
Align IT operational processes with business needs.
Execute and set the example of appropriate project management oversight by overseeing multiple projects in various area(s) of discipline.
Provide leadership to managers, supervisors, and professional staff. Ensure employees are positioned for success by providing guidance and championing performance and development opportunities.
Demonstrate expert technical proficiency by providing high level technical guidance to internal clients and staff.
Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications and other work products by creating and maintaining standards/procedures for implementing solutions.
Provide input on Departmental or functional strategy and policy formation.
Ensure budgets, resources, and schedules meet corporate requirements and milestones.
Demonstrate negotiation skills aimed at providing the best outcome for the business.
Collaborate with internal business partners to establish strategic plans and meet deadlines.
Provide management of key business relationships with select suppliers, outsourced partners, and vendors to ensure organizational goals and needs are met.
Participate and support talent succession planning to include identifying bench strength and development plans.
Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working in operations, project management, or a business partner role with Information Technology focus.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role with responsibility for talent management.
Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus but not required
