Scope:
The Training Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the training program, including but not limited to training the testing team on standard Oracle functionality, developing training collaterals for new extensions, planning and overseeing the training of UAT participants and site users. They will interact with all levels of resources from first line users of the system to senior managers interested in overall operations management, and even to executives who are monitoring project progress. Although the Training Specialist is not intended to have direct reports, they will be responsible for working with a team of professionals across a variety of disciplines and for providing regular updates to program management.
Job Summary:
The purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of all stages of systems training; particularly as relates to CooperVision’s Oracle ERP solution: OneVision. The role will make a significant contribution to our global business, leading the delivery of learning from scoping work effort through to implementation in the various countries where CooperVision does business.
The successful candidate will engage with program team, regional and site personnel to develop the curriculum. They will oversee the creation, localization/translation and deployment of training. They balance a high-energy and enthusiastic personality with a focus on quality. They work collaboratively with CooperVision and Service Integrator program management, Functional Consultants, 3rd party providers, Test and Deployment Managers, and our site SMEs to ensure successful delivery of our program. The specialist also provides on-going support after launch, interacting with project and site personnel as needed to keep training material up-to-date and support on-boarding of new people.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
The Training Specialist works through indirect team members and vendor-sourced resources. They will report to the OneVision Oracle Program Manager as a member of the organization delivering solutions. To effectively support our multi-national deployment, occasionally significant travel should be expected (on average, approximately 25%).
