Linen Distribution Tech- Per Diem at Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital(BWFH) in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

The Linen Tech is responsible for the ordering, stocking and distribution of adequate supplies of clean linen for the hospital.
Responsibilities Include:
Distribute all exchange linen carts delivered by the linen company
Deliver clean linen to any area of the hospital that requires linen and does not receive an exchange cart
Restock all Physician Office Suites
Restock 1st and 6th floor OR with scrubs
Place bulk order with linen company for next day delivery
Pick up and distribute lab coats as necessary

GRADE: 100

High school education or equivalent required
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English: oral, written and typed.
Computer and typing skills.
The candidate will be required to be on their feet for most of the shift and will be required to move loaded linen carts. Staff adheres to all C.A.R.E. Standards
