SUMMARY

Cherokee Nation Management and Consulting is seeking a full-time Management Support Analyst I in support of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Strategic Integration (DASA-SI) Resource Management and Support Office (RMSO). The analyst will assist the Information Management Officer (IMO) and IMO representative for all information management (IM) and IT issues. Assist in issuing user accounts, monitoring internet use, and ensuring proper IT security measures are followed within the Agency. Act as a liaison between the Agency and the DOD Joint Service Provider (JSP) and interface with JSP for security, software, and equipment upgrades and requests for repair. Provide Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) support by assisting in the dissemination and execution of IA policies, guidance and training materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assist in issuing user Local Area Network (LAN) and wireless accounts, monitoring internet use, and ensuring proper IT security measures are followed within the Agency.
  • Act as a liaison between the Agency and the OSD Joint Service Provider (JSP) for security, software, and equipment upgrades and turn-in, and requests for repair.
  • Provide IASO support by assisting in the dissemination and assurance of implementation of IA policy, guidance and training requirements.
  • Help implement of IA dissemination, reporting and compliance procedures. Help to ensure personnel receive system-specific and annual IA awareness training.
  • Help to ensure log files and audits are maintained and reviewed for all systems, and that authentication (e.g., password) policies are audited for compliance. Assist in the preparation, distribution and maintenance plans with instructions and SOP's concerning security.
  • Provide AVM support services for the setup of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) for agency personnel and provide A/V support for conferences and meetings hosted by OASA (IE&E). Assist in Audio/Video (A/V) equipment support for agency staff when needed and maintain agency A/V and VTC equipment to ensure it is operational.
  • Assist in providing Basic Tier I Helpdesk Support as needed. Track Initial Technical Reviews (ITR) and acquire appropriate administrative rights to add and delete software for OASA (IE&E) users.
  • Assist in the provisioning and configuration of wireless accounts within OASA (IE&E) and aid the office in development of associated technical reports. Reports may include but not be limited to equipment inventory lists and summaries of analysis of existing equipment as directed by the government IMO.
  • Assist OASA (IE&E) by attending information management meetings and advising the government on possible follow-up actions. As directed, the contractor shall develop talking points or notes related to these meetings.
  • Assist the government in tracking the status of it concerns and issues, including monitoring the turn-in of equipment. As directed, provide reports or summaries documenting the status of it concerns.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY


  • No management of others or supervisory roles.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • Must hold and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • At least a BA/BS degree in related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with supporting IT related Programs for a Federal Agency

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Knowledge of, and experience with IT hardware and audio/video conference set up (no certifications required).
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication analysis, and interpersonal skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • Office environment inside of a federally secured facility.
