The Department of Economics seeks to fill a position at either the advanced, tenure-track assistant or tenured associate professor level. Preference will be given to applicants with a focus on Industrial Organization, Public Economics, or Labor Economics. Candidates may be ABD with expected completion of PhD by Fall 2021 or a PhD in economics or related field.
The appointee will be an affiliate of the Institute for the Study of Free Enterprise ( IFSE ). The mission of IFSE is to generate intellectually rigorous, policy-relevant research and open dialogue to understand how free enterprise affects peoples' lives and the well-being of society. Active participation in the Institute's activities, which include disseminating research to the public and hosting events featuring external speakers, is expected.
