Responsibilities

We Ask Of You To:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and professional development for up to four production supervisors.
  • Supervise the daily shift operations of the Department to ensure production standards, quality parameters, safety procedures, and department business plan goals are met.
  • Work effectively with the maintenance team to minimize production downtime and ensure preventative maintenance is performed on schedule.
  • Responsible for monitoring the total production process including continual monitoring of the total product flow, equipment, process methodology, mechanical repair work orders, on-the-job training of employees, writing and developing standard operating procedures (SOP), product quality, product yields and safety excellence.

Qualifications

You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree including four years as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment who is ready to take on the next step in their careers!
  • Working knowledge of production processes, 5S program, and lean manufacturing and quality control techniques.
  • Proficient computer knowledge, with familiarity or ability to learn SAP or similar integrated manufacturing system.
  • Previous experience as a leader of leaders.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in a food science, food technology, or dairy science field of study.
  • Experience in the manufacturing of dried dairy, whey, or cheese products.
