We are currently looking for an experienced nuclear medicine technician for our Kenmore location. The nuclear Medicine Technician performs a variety of routine and advanced clinical diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures to produce graphic and numerical results by the diagnosis of pathological conditions. You will performs diagnostic imaging examinations, in vivo organ monitoring examinations, and in vitro examinations using scintillation camera, scintillation detection scaler, rectilinear scanner and clinical data system (computer), and performs weekly calibration checks of scintillation cameras for quality control. The technician maintains an up-to-date log of equipment settings as an additional check on quality control and calibrates and adjusts imaging and other detection instruments. You will monitor patient during procedure and report any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel. Education: Completion of an accredited training course in Nuclear Medicine techniques. Certification/Registration license as required. CPR certification required by the state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Skills and Experience: One year of experience performing nuclear medicine technological procedures under the direction of a qualified physician in a clinical nuclear medicine facility.
