Job Description:

The candidate will work as part of a dynamic team involved with testing Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) business intelligence products - SAP BusinessObjects, SAS, STARSInformant, web, portal products and cross-browser for new features and system enhancements using automated performance testing approaches. This role includes the design, development, execution and maintenance of automated performance test scripts, performance test plan creation and maintenance, and accurate defect tracking and reporting from the performance test execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translating and interpreting non-functional requirements into performance test cases and support DevSecOps
  • Contribute to requirements review sessions with internal and external stakeholders. Design, develop, execute and maintain performance test scripts, performance test plans, and performance test summary reports
  • Follow CMS Testing Framework, corporate and program SDLC and quality guidelines, as well as adhere to industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Construct complex SQL statements and prepare test data using database tools
  • Analyze record counts and contents, review metadata, and use statistical functions to analyze data quality
  • Experience with release management and collaboration tools such as MKS, JIRA, Test Rail, Confluence and SharePoint
  • Support management in analyzing and implementing initiatives to improve overall performance test process and product quality to enhance the value for end users

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience performing Performance Testing and Validation activities in large scale, complex IT environments
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with performance diagnostics, performance architecture review, performance tuning, performance monitoring, and capacity planning
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing using HP LoadRunner and / or JMeter - performance tools to test COTS Business Intelligence or analytics tools such as, SAP BusinessObjects, SAS, STARS Informant , Data Loading and /or others
  • Able to lead, develop, and communicates load and stress testing goals, priorities, and status
  • Able to communicate with Enterprise Test Center Lead and engage with stakeholders
  • Experience testing in RESTful API's, SOAP API's, GraphQL API's
  • Experience with agile development, designing and implementing quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and AWS environment is a plus
  • Understands semantic layers and report structures; interprets HP Load Runner or JMeter error logs for the SAP BusinessObjects, SAS and STARS Informant, Database (Teradata or Snowflake) product suite
  • Using SQL Assistant or Teradata Studio Express and other tools, constructs complex SQL statements using knowledge of database hierarchy and SQL attributes such as group by, order by, and similar constructs, to verify data values and query results. Analyzes record counts, reviews metadata, and uses statistical functions to analyze data quality
  • Thorough knowledge of performance testing practices, and how testing approaches are affected by System Development Life Cycle choices, including Waterfall and Agile
  • Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration or equivalent
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security Tools (Eg., BurbSuite) to support Penetration Testing
  • Detailed knowledge of the CMS Integrated Data Repository (IDR), as well as knowledge gained by testing Medicare or Medicaid information systems, is greatly valued
  • Previous healthcare domain experience, especially testing connected with CMS claims, is appreciated
