Join BRIGHT HORIZONS AT WVU MEDICINE as a School Age Teacher and you will supervise the online learning for KINDERGARTNERS who are attending virtual school. Your classroom will have limited enrollment and each of our centers have enhanced health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of the children, families, and staff. THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION WORKING MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

As a School Age Teacher you will:

Create supplemental activities (including STEM, art, and movement) to enhance children s learning
*

Communicate regularly with parents to support, guide, and share in their child s development
*

Document and share the special moments and important milestones of the children in your care

Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements including:

*

At least six months of experience working with children in a professional setting
*

At least 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
*

Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred
*

Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

*

Pass required state and company background checks
