ROLE DESCRIPTION

The North America Sales Strategy team directly supports the President of AMER Sales and North America COO, whose central charter is to propel the AMER Sales organization into a new era of growth and innovation. This team partners closely with the six AMER operating units (Enterprise, Commercial, Retail Consumer Good, Financial Services, Healthcare / Life Sciences, and Media/Comms/Tech) to identify new opportunities and present recommendations for the business. A successful candidate will help drive standardization of core operations across the operating units, to ensure the entire North America business runs efficiently and smoothly. Additionally, this team works closely with the most senior-executives of the company to develop long range plans and multi-year transformational strategies. We will be expected to partner with many cross-functional teams such as finance, customer success, marketing, and product. The ability to present recommendations clearly, succinctly, and backed by data is paramount, as is incredible executive presence. Team members are expected to think strategically, arrive at a focused execution plan, and manage the plan to fruition.

The successful candidate will have a relentless curiosity and a passion for turning innovative analysis into actionable insights and flawless execution. Ideally, this person will have experience with top-tier management consulting, growth strategy, and business or sales operations and will feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis. You must be a team player, a strong people leader, and an extremely effective communicator, who is passionate about making a difference. You must have a startup mindset with a strong sense of urgency, willing to manage multiple priorities and able to deal with ambiguity effectively.

YOUR IMPACT

Partnership with AMER Executive Sales team and Sales operating units
*

Leverage multiple data sources to merge and manipulate large datasets to identify trends and extracting actionable insights
*

Develop innovative models to evaluate and predict AMER Sales Performance
*

Propose recommendations and strategies to solve customer problems in unique ways and return optimal value to our business.
*

Engage in long range planning and multi-year transformation strategies
*

Collaborate and execute cross-functionally to ensure success of strategic initiatives
*

Improve operational excellence of the AMER business by driving standardization, predictability, and rigor
*

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research with customers, account execs, partners and sales leadership to understand customer needs, perceived value of new product concepts, competitive alternatives, buying behavior and likelihood to buy.
*

Develop and deliver C-level presentations. Assist in developing and delivering presentations for leadership including board and QBR meetings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

*

5+ years of relevant experience in Sales Strategy, Operations, Management Consulting
*

Advanced Excel experience
*

Experience building compelling Powerpoint presentations

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

*

Work experience with experience akin to management consulting and/or across similar business/sales operations purviews
*

Strategic, quantitative and operational mindset
*

Proven ability to lead large teams and execute on complex cross functional projects
*

Expert presentation skills with ability to build compelling PowerPoint presentations and conduct advanced Excel
*

Strong executive presence and communication skills. Established credibility and trust with senior management or boards on business strategy completely comfortable operating at that level highly desired
*

Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality executive presentations
*

Creativity in developing actionable recommendations for presentation to senior management
*

Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast pace, rapid change environment
